Today we will see the eligibility to upgrade to Windows 11.

Before that, Welcome to Windows 11 Eligibility Post. I welcome all of the viewers to this post and also hope that you will use this to check if your PC is eligible to Upgrade.

If you want to check the eligibility manually you can read this post fully. If you don't want to do it manually, you can check out in PC health Check Up By Microsoft and then scroll down to the bottom to download the PC health check up and check if your PC is eligible.
You can also check there manually.

Anyway, Windows 11 was released last month (5th October 2021) and Microsoft has laid an strict restrictions for upgrading to windows 11. Unlike windows 10 had some simpler restrictions where every old or new users could upgrade.
So lets see the eligibility.

Here are they:
  1. Your PC must have a Secure Boot.
  2. TPM 2.0 should be Enabled in your Computer.
  3. The processer should be supported. The processor should not be very old and the PC must have a graphics card for Windows 11 to run.
  4. Your PC must at least be less than one year old.
  5. This PC must have at least 4GB of RAM and 64 GB free space (This data is not for downloading)
  6. Your PC's CPU must have at least 2 cores.
  7. Your PC's CPU must have a clock speed of 1 GHz.
These are the Eligibility Check to take if your Laptop/ PC meets the minimum system requirements.

I hope all the viewer's PC/ Laptop is eligible for Upgrading.

If your PC/ Laptop doesn't meet the minimum system requirements, Don't think your Windows 10 laptop's support will be ended and you have to buy a new laptop. The windows 11 upgrade will come to all users within next year.
If your laptop doesn't get the Update after that too. The good news is windows 10 will be supported till 2025.
If you are using a Windows 10 laptop and don't want to upgrade to windows 11, well you can stay on windows 10.

Hope you enjoyed!
